The preliminary breath tester also called a PBT is used by Officers to establish that you have alcohol in your system. Usually they arrest you if you have any alcohol in your system. Do you blow into the hand held breath tester?

A: Absolutely not.  NO, NO, Never.  All it will do is cement the Officer's probable cause to arrest you.  The gadget gives false positives, inflated scores and is often not properly maintained. 

Never ever blow into a PBT.
