Mark Walden, a Virginia State Trooper was struck while writing a ticket on the shoulder of Interstate 264.
Sabrina Fardor, a 24 year old Virginia Beach woman, rammed the stopped cruiser before rolling on its side.
Farbor is suspected of being distracted by her cell phone. Farbor was charged with failure to comply with the Move Over Law.
Since our roads are so crowded and dangerous maybe the legislature should consider easing up on the silly reasons for stopping vehicles and putting everyone in harm's way.
