Ralph Larkin, a retired Los Angeles police officer, was arrested in May of 2008 on charges of possessing child pornography.

A year earlier Officer Larkin was tackled by the father of a fiver year old girl who realized Larkin was taking pictures of his daugher's genital area.

Police were able to restore some of the child pornography that former Officer Larkin had deleted prior to his arrest.

Bobby Dodge, a 56 year old Coors Beer truck driver, was arrested in November, 2008 for drunk driving after flipping his beer truck.

Dodge took a ramp too fast and turned over.

Justice Kedik is not just charged with DWI; he is charged with felony DWI.

Justice Kedik was stopped for speeding (not a NHTSA impaired driving clue) and was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated nlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Justice Kedik has other problems: he was indicted in Schenectady County Court for grand larceny and forgery -- a 2004 theft of a check from his mother in law.

Woodstock DUI Lawyer Bob Keefer: Even School Superintendents pick up DWI DUI charges

Annette Griffin, Superintendent for Carrollton-Farmers Branch schools has been charged with driving while intoxicated DWI.

Superintendent Griffin will probably be fired by the school board on December 4, 2008.

The school board has even removed her profile from the website.

Superintendent Griffin will lose her $285,000 salary not counting benefits when she is terminated.

Superintendent Griffin has been on paid leave since October 9, 2008.

Griffin was arrested at a Dallas/Fort Worth International toll booth for DWI. Her reported blood alcohol content was 0.19. Maybe it was even correct.

Dr. Griffin has not been convicted of DWI; but she is getting fired just as if she had.

Dr. Griffin was Texas Superintendent of the year in 2000.

What a rush to justice.

Harrisonburg DUI Lawyer Bob Keefer: Virginia's intoxilyzer 5000 gave a documented False Positive

Virginia is now or will soon be replacing its “dated, unstable and unreliable” Intoxilyzer 5000s.

Virginia’s Department of Forensic Science has always maintained to the public that these gadgets will know they are making a mistake and not give an incorrect result.

In other words, a perfect machine that never makes mistakes!

That of course, is impossible; there is no perfect machine.

Internally, the Department of Forensic Science complains about increasing instrument failures and its inability to find replacement parts.

In any event, in July, 2008 a suspect was tested on SN68-001998, the Intoxilyzer 5000 in the Rockingham County, Virginia Sheriff’s Department.

The breath test result was .60 BAC.

Two hours and two minutes the subject’s blood test showed her true BAC, 0.00; no alcohol whatsoever.

The ultimate False Positive. These gadgets are dated, unstable and unreliable just like the Department of Forensic Science has been saying since 2005.

Robert A. Jones, Livingston NJ Municipal Court Judge, lost his drivers license on November 5, 2008 upon entering his guilty plea to DWI.

Judge Jones had fought the charge for months but ended up pleading guilty to a .16 DWI.

Judge Jones initially told the officer that he had consumed soda and water. You would think that a Judge would understand that he did not need to talk to the Officer and incriminate himself.

Judge Jones also failed all the sobriety tests designed to fail the subject. You would think that a Judge would understand to refuse this rigged game.

Judge Jones failed to give his alphabet from D to W but instead sang the entire alphabet.

Staunton DUI Lawyer Bob Keefer: Even Middle School Principals get charged with DUI DWI second offense

James C. Joiner, the 47 year old principal of Fall Creek Valley Middle School in Lawrence was arrested on November 8, 2008 for a second DWI charge within three months.

Principal Joiner was arrested after he ran over a fire hydrant.

Joiner had a reported blood alcohol level of 0.14.

I assume that Principal Joiner will be given a good deal due to his employment by the state; I am sure he deserves that good deal; I just wish regular citizens were considered for such breaks.
